Seminars & Lectures - A FREE Support Service
Our presentations are designed and pitched according to the audience: the majority of our seminar presentations have ranged from small clerical gatherings at local level to over one hundred church representatives from urban locations in the South East.
Our aim is to educate ministers and laity about the true potential for church growth through online communication. We receive feedback at the end of every presentation, which has been a vital tool for us to adapt and improve the delivery and content of our presentations.
Presentation Topics:
- Web Evangelism: a fresh approach to communicating the Gospel
- Supporting faith development for all
- Church Welcome: the weakest link
- Understanding the Internet user in the church context
- Preparing for Ministry - Internet communication in a parochial context
- The Internet and the Great Commission
- Church website ‘Best Practice’ – sharing success with all
- Fun, Faith and Fellowship: engaging congregations
- Podcasting: an audio-visual church
- The art of church photography
- Beyond Church – the impact of online ministry
- A future for all: working with all ages
- Putting out the welcome mat – writing for your audience
Many of our presenters are in full time ministry and have first-hand experience in developing a successful church website. Daniel, the Project’s Senior Project Leader, is a successful teacher and presenter, having presented at church, school and University level. The presentations are carefully structured to incorporate group activity and paired discussion, where possible, and are always written to the requirements of the seminar delegates.
We can deliver a presentation or seminar to any number of people, at local or national level. Our presenters will be chosen based on your objectives for the seminar or lecture and may well include more than one presenter, depending on your needs.
Examples of past presentations:
1. Web Evangelism: Coley Church, Halifax
2. Beyond Church – the impact of online ministry: Queen’s Theological College, Birmingham
3. Fun, Faith and Fellowship: Bourne Abbey, Lincolnshire
4. Understanding the Internet user in the church context: Combined Deanery Synod, Norfolk
5. The Internet and the Great Commission: Blackheath Methodist Circuit, London
We would be happy to discuss ways that we can support your church – we do not restrict the number of people we present to and offer this service FREE to all churches and Christian organisations (subject to travel expenses).
