About Us: Shaping Online Mission & Ministry
The Church Website Design Project has been working exclusively with churches for over seven years: Anglicans, Baptists, Methodists, Pentecostals and many non-denominational churches.
The Project has been set up to be accessible for all churches, regardless of budget and 'online experience'. We haved worked closely with clergy and church leadership over the past few years to establish a consultation network. It is this team of experienced Ministers and laity that has helped shape the Church Website Design Project into the supportive service it is today.
Many of our new clients are referred by clergy we have worked with in the past or because our portfolio has spoken for itself through the many church websites we have created within the last five years. Our primary goal is to support all churches, regardless of financial situation - we can always find a solution for even the most cash-strapped church. Get in touch with us today to find out how we can help you.
The Next Five Years
It is our hope to broaden the number of clergy and laity that make up our 'consultation network'. We have come to rely on the wealth of experience, wisdom and theological training within the current network - to expand this will add a great deal more value to each of our clients.
We would like to see more rural churches coming forward for websites. While finances are of concern to all churches, this is no more visible than in the work we have undertaken with rural churches within Norfolk alone. However, we have seen the added value a website can have for a rural church, especially in terms of Tourist Ministry.
Supporting churches with existing websites to make imorovements 'in house'. There are a vast number of church websites out there that are failing to engage with their visitors, whether through poor graphics, lack of images or the wording itself. We wish to engage more closely with these churches, to offer free advice, support and encouragement to help them make the changes for themslves. The Church Website Design Project was built up to be a supportive Christian network; we wish to develop this more in the next five years.
