Marketing and Advertising
Finding your website once it is online is not an easy task, unless it
is optimised for the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. Search
Engine Optimisation, otherwise known as SEO, is perhaps the most vital part of
the website development process. We offer this vital service as part of all our
church website design projects.
A vital part of SEO is to choose search terms, or
keywords, that will be used by internet users to find your website. If we do not
take the time to analyse the effectiveness of the keywords we use, we may end up
creating keywords or phrases that no one is searching for, and therefore not
finding you. Therefore the task of SEO has grown to become possibly the most
vital element of website design and management.
There is a great deal more to SEO that just keywords. We
have seen a number of changes in the way websites have been indexed by search
engines and it is this continuing flux that keeps us challenged. We provide an
advanced search engine submission service, keyword listing, page descriptions,
headers etc: meta tags that are viewed only by search engines.
It must be remembered
that SEO is not strictly advertising, although it may include an advertising
component such as pay-per-click advertising. It is not public relations,
although it includes communication tasks similar to PR. As a continually
evolving area of online marketing, SEO sounds like a complicated task, but it is
very simple in its fundamental goal: gaining targeted visitors to your website
and ultimately making more people aware of your ministry and church activities,
thereby encouraging people to visit the church.
All SEO work
undertaken for church websites is FREE as part of the web design process.
