Dyffryn Clwyd Deanery Website
This project required a complete over-haul of the existing pages. Read through our commentary by clicking the image below to explore the transformation.

Dyffryn Clwyd Deanery is a rural Deanery made up of 14 parish churches divided into four benefices, served by a team of four clergy.

Past Project Spotlight

Pickering Church, Yorkshire The website was developed primarily for Tourist Ministry, however the content has been shaped to offer something for all residents and visitors to Pickering and the surrounding villages.

Selby Abbey, Yorkshire: Selby Abbey is one of the 'Great Churches' in the UK. The website was redeveloped from an existing site.

Reepham Benefice, Norfolk: Reepham benefice includes the churches of Reepham St Mary with St Michael, Salle, Wood Dalling and Thurning. We spent 6 months working with the Rector and his team to develop a unique focus on the website: researching and exploring the history of the background and history of those named on the World War One memorial in St Michael's Church, Reepham. The website was launched on November 11th 2008 and was described as "a pivotal and defining moment in the history of the Reepham Benefice."

Projects in Development:

Bourne Abbey, Lincolnshire: Bourne is a large Anglican church in southern Lincolnshire. With a 'High Church' tradition, Bourne Abbey ministers to a congregation well over 100 each Sunday. With workshops planned in the coming weeks, this project is very much in its early stages. Project project completion date: Summer 2010.

Stibbard Methodist Church: A small rural church with 4 members, Stibbard is looking beyond its own rural community and are creating a tool for mission and evangelism in the wider community. Project completion date: 1st May 2010.

Vine Evangelical Church: A large non-denominational church in Sevenoaks, the Vine Evangelical Church are redeveloping an existing website. Utilising our '1-1 Support' services, we are helping them to target their 'audience' with language specific pages. Project completion date: 2nd Quarter 2010.

Peover Benefice, Cheshire: Members of the churches of St Oswald's and St Lawrence's, 25 miles east of Chester, met with The Church Website Design Project on May 10th as part of a Web Evangelism workshop to begin development of a new website for the benefice. Project completion date: ongoing.
