Past Project Spotlight

Fakenham Parish, Norfolk
Fakenham Parish Church's original website consisted of 6 basic pages. After considerable redevelopment, the site now contains over 60 pages, with  development plans already being considered for future improvement, such as the addition of a 'Organ/ Choir music request' page.

The new look to Fakenham website - currently in development

All Saints' Church, King's Lynn
This website is an extension of the sterling work being undertaken by the Rector and ministry team. The website currently consists of 153 pages, developed over a 3 week period prior to launch on November 1st 2007. The website has received over 12,000 visitors since its launch 5 months ago.

Projects in Development:

Lower and Over Peover Benefice, Cheshire: Members of the churches of St Oswald's and St Lawrence's, 25 miles east of Chester, met with The Church Website Design Project on May 10th as part of a Web Evangelism workshop to begin development of a new website for the benefice.

The weekend was spent meeting with key personnel within the benefice as well as shadowing the vicar during the Sunday services, photographing the active 'life' of the church. The response to the development of a supportive community website was very positive and individuals will begin to shape the content over the next few weeks.

Pending Development:

  • Selby Abbey, Yorkshire
  • Mattishall Church, Norfolk
  • St John the Evangelist, King's Lynn
  • Reepham Benefice, Norfolk
